Privacy policy
Short, because there isn't much to say. We don't run accounts, forms, or a lead queue, so there's very little about you for us to hold.
This policy covers seekmover.com (“Seek Mover”, “we”, “us”). It explains what happens to information when you use the site.
What we don’t collect
There are no user accounts on this site. There is no quote form, no enquiry form, no newsletter signup and no lead-capture of any kind. We never ask for your name, phone number, email address or moving details, so we never hold them. Nothing about you is sold or passed to a mover.
What is collected automatically
Like any website, ours is served over the internet, and our hosting provider processes the technical information that requires: your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and the time of the request. This is standard server and edge-network logging, retained by the provider for security and reliability, and we don’t use it to build a profile of you.
We may run privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to see which pages are read. If and when we do, it is counting-level data — page views, referrers, country — not tracking individuals across sites.
Cookies
Seek Mover does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that changes, this page changes first and the site will ask before setting anything non-essential.
Calling a mover
When you tap a phone number here, your device places a normal telephone call. It does not route through us, we are not notified, and we receive no record of it. Whatever you tell the mover on that call is between you and them, under their own privacy practices, not ours.
Links to other sites
Some listings link to a mover’s own website. Once you follow one, you are on their site under their policies. We don’t control what they collect.
Business information we publish
The directory contains business contact details — company name, business address, business phone number, website and public Google ratings — collected from public Google Maps listings. This is business information published by those businesses themselves, not personal data we have gathered about individuals. Your rights
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you rights of access to and correction of personal data held about you. Since we don’t collect personal data from visitors, in most cases there is nothing to access — but if you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will tell you what we have and delete it on request.
